My Kona coffee was delivered today. I made a latte with it and it taste pretty good - completely different taste the the usual coffee I buy.

It's taking some level of will-power not to go and make more coffee...

Those are a little too traditional in styling for me.

oh I KNOW!! When I roast Kona, I drink entirely too much coffee until it's gone.

You say it's different...tell me what it tastes like to you (I'm always interested in how people explain their coffee taste)

Holy wow.

I'm thinking what I've got picked out and a couple cans of spray paint ought to do me.

Did you ever get that other computer you bought working?

No. It's been sitting in the closet for over a year now. But, I got some new ideas from a couple guys at work last week. Maybe I'll dig it out of the closet and try again next week while I have a little free time.

My name is Lonnie, but I answer to Thomas too.

It's hard to quantify the difference in taste. It somehow tastes richer and smoother.

Ali says it tastes "velvety".

Next time, I'll put some in my bodum so I have a better taste of the coffee itself.

I would agree with all of that! Velvety is a really nice explanation of Kona.

Yep. The weird thing is that the beans don't smell all that special, and the fresh grind smells quite pungent. Tastes good in the cup though.

It's so true. When I roast Kona, it smells heavenly right out of the roaster. For about 12 hrs. Then the smell gets harsher, much less pleasing...and in 2 or 3 days when it doesn't smell special at all, it's ready to grind/drink. I would expect it differently but it seems that it releases all the gases (like other coffees do) that make it bitter and the lovely smell goes with it.

Is this a silicone implant factory? ;)

No, it was a car factory... Though Tata probably has somewhere a silicone implant factory. This company is so gigantic that they are active in almost every market you could imagine...

okay....so this was one of the places where I had less than 4ft for me to stand, them to sit and a photo to be taken (so I used mirrors)....well it turned out that I really like this.

So then I thought...while I like it in color

what about b&w?

then I thought...now I don't normally do selective color because I don't like it...but...

and then I thought...while the glass in the mirror is a bit dirty, it might look nice as a painting too...

Thanks for posting your thought flow Lisa. It is very inspiring!

This is a quick stop by. I am pretty busy organising my 2 coming weekends (Paris and Berlin, one for fun, the other not at all...)
