I love kitchen utensils. There are so many fun things out there.

I need to cook more.

Corey is just going to have to learn to put up with more interesting food.

He currently despises anything without meat, dislikes rice and most fruits and vegetables.

You can cook for me any time. As Heather once put it, I'll eat anything that doesn't eat me first. I love rice and vegetables, fruit not so much...

Plus, I'm shopping around for a spot carpet cleaner (a little one...already have the huge carpet shampooer) to add to my christmas list.

Bissell SpotBot... (external link) We bought one after we got Buddy and it works great on the small spots. The only problem with it was that we ended up with all these nice clean spots in our otherwise dingy carpet.

Lonnie - I had to replace the battery in my UPS last year (UPS itself was fine). If I were you, I'd just pop the battery hatch and pull out the old one. A quick trip to one of the chain battery stores (like "Batteries Plus") should have you up and running in a jiffy.

Sorry for barging in all :)

Attention!!

A couple days back, Jenn posted a recipe for potato soup here. I just made it, and we're having it for lunch.

It is brilliantly good!!! If you haven't tried it, you're missing something wonderful. It's quick, easy, and delicious.

The only thing I would have done differently is to garnish with some scallions when serving. I didn't have any, and I don't really miss them.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I bought a leaf-blower/sucker.

I have one of those, it's never blown a leaf but it is brilliant for blowing water off the bike after I have washed it. :-)

Someone needs to collect all the recipes that have been posted on here for a TPBM Cook (and Drink) Book.

Hmm, actually Jon, that wouldn't be TOO horrid to do if someone has a few extra hours...I got a kit a couple years ago when a group I was part of was thinking of making a cookbook....its reasonably priced to do and they put everything together for you in a bound book. If someone is interested, I'll dig out the info.

I've been discussing a recipe on FB with some friends. The primary ingredients are cheetos, bacon and honey crisp apples. If it turns out good I'll share the recipe. ;)

Doing it on Blurb would be an idea. Then you could include photos of every dish with the recipe :) It's always nice to see what you're making, PLUS this is a photo forum :)
