I suppose my favorite (locally) is Williams Sonoma, followed closely by Bed Bath & Beyond. We also have a local shop called Kitchen Kitchen, and they are really good, but disorganized. We also have a big manufacturers clearance outlet mall not terribly far from here, and they have a couple stores that are interesting. One in particular is the Le Crousset outlet. This has me really conflicted because I've discovered the joys of cooking cast iron, but can't afford to buy anything. ![]() What I've been doing recently (and I've already mentioned this) is shopping in restaurant supply stores. The things they sell aren't pretty, but they work, and they're quite inexpensive, at least when compared to their consumer counterparts. Check out Swiss Diamond pots and pans sometime.

The big wok does superbly with my stir fries (I tend to keep the pan at full heat all the time), the pan's never once been hard to clean.

Lol. Ok. Belmondo wrote in post #8912375 Attention!! A couple days back, Jenn posted a recipe for potato soup here. I just made it, and we're having it for lunch. It is brilliantly good!!! If you haven't tried it, you're missing something wonderful. It's quick, easy, and delicious. The only thing I would have done differently is to garnish with some scallions when serving. I didn't have any, and I don't really miss them. Yum! Tiffany
