Need some help combining Lightroom Catalogs

Create a new folder at a higher level (I.e., not inside 2009) - Temp. Move Shoots 4, 5 and 6 into Temp, make sure (in Explorer) there's no sign of them in the 2009 folder, move them to 2009 in LR.

Can't see why that shouldn't work.

That worked perfectly, thank you. I moved 4, 5 and 6 to new locations on the HDD, located the missing folder in LR, them drag & dropped them into the 2009 parent folder through LR.
