Great work Jurgen - you always take such lovely photos!

Nice work everyone.

Brad - and I too would like to know more about the person with the gun in the rain. Cool shot.

Jurgen I really like your street portraits. You seem to get to the real soul of your subjects and it come through in the images. .

The Hoff...May I ask when and where this shot was taken...It's very retro cool.

Thanks, TKM. It was the first shot of the day (first frame really) from a 2 hr walk I did downtown using off-camera flash. The lady was sitting outside a cafe (I think it is Trees near Hastings and Granville)... I walked past her once and did one of those double-takes in my mind.... "Did I just see what I think I saw and I didn't take a picture of it?" So I went back, took a quick frame, smiled, and kept walking. One of my favourite shots now... thanks.

Thanks Hoff.. I did a double take when I first saw your submission.. I focused straight on the woman.. At first glance it looked like a Parisienne cafe shot from the 1930s until I saw the chairs and her flask..

I thought the same thing. She looks just like Marlene Dietrich---could be her double. It sure has that 30's feel.
