This was taken at an orphan house... Many years ago (I used B&W film)... I cried all the afternoon after I got home just by remembering all those boys that lived in such bad conditions...

Comments always welcome.

I may add that those boys were mentally disabled (is that the correct way to say it? )

i think that's a fair statement of their condition. it's nice to see that they still are able to smile, and prove that there are many things many of us take for granted. nice captures. thanks for sharing them.

great photojournalism photos Fer. Both, are so sad and touching photos, amazing.

Number 1, is my fav, may be I will darken some areas a little more, and add a little more contrast. Play with the levels, and may be a little grain will be great.

I thing the scan doesn't help too much. But the photo is great.

Saludos

Well, Fer I made a fast PS adjustments to see if you like it, this is what I do:
1) Darken some areas, with burn tool.
2) Ad some grain, with noise (less than 1%)
3) Adjust the saturation (hue/saturation) in the different channels.

and I think thats it.

Do you like it?

Its a Before & After to see side by side the changes.

Cheers!
