We had a weeks holiday in the highlands of Scotland last week, this is the first time we have been back since I really got into photography.
Below is just a small section of images, a couple of which I have played around with (the sunset ones are pretty much out of the camera but I'll explain with each shot).
1. Best first. Taken on a 13 second exposure with Dark Sunset filter and Tungsten white balance to get the effect.
2. Similar viewpoint to above but without filters
3. From the other end of Loch Ness, just before a storm hit
4. A used a Day to Night PS filter on this, thought it looked quite good
5. This one just looks moody
6. And finally, the most photographed place in Scotland, Eilean Donan Castle, this time at night. If you've seen the movie Highlander, you've seen this castle
I'd love to know what you think of the image and the processes used on those I have played with.
Cheers
