I think it is good but you could have waited another second before snapping the shot because that way he would be totally upside-down.

Yea, with the speed that Jordy does his flips you definitely need to just hold the shutter button down.

He is doing an rodeo,

that is the most upside down he will be getting. At this point he is actually becoming more upright, his nose is going to swing toward the beach and level out.
