Please post the sharpest picture that you've ever taken and what lens you used to take it.

Cheers,

Awaiting pics of Canon boxes taken with lenses at optimal settings on a tripod.

Sorry, but this is one of the most useless threads I've seen recently.

Ok, I'll play. Taken with a Carl Zeiss (C/Y-mount) 28mm f/2.8 and a Rebel XTi on a tripod. Slight sharpening in post.

I have a lot of pictures with a lot of my lenses that are all essentially indistinguishable in sharpness to the naked eye (100L, 100 f/2, Sigma 150, 70-200 f/4L IS, Zeiss 85 Sonnar, etc), but the shots out of my new 100L IS macro appear, to my eye, to be just barely at the top. I posted this in the 100L sticky at the top, but here's an example...shot last night while my daughter was coloring.

Beautiful shot Jordan, and such a beautiful and determined model. Adorable.

I posted this on the Tokina sample thread, but not sure anyone looks at that thread. I would say this is definitely in the top 5 sharpest I have ever taken, although the web resized JPG looks a bit soft in comparison to the RAW:

Shot with the Tokina 50-135mm f2.8 at 68mm and f2.8, ISO 800

Do we have to post a 400% crop also?

I keep upgrading lenses and keep getting sharper. I can't think of one particular picture that stands out in regards to sharpness, but here's one from the first big weekend I had out with my new 17-55:

This may be one of the sharper shots I've gotten with the 50D/70-200 f/2.8L IS lens:

Why, you don't have any sharp shots you want to show off?
