I just got a Tamron 28-75. At 28mm & 40mm it reports the right FL in the EXIF. At 75mm it reports 53mm.

Anyone else see this with a Tamron 28-75?

Nope my 28-75 reports FL in the EXIF data correctly. I can see photos from it with FLs of 28mm, 56mm, 66mm, 75mm, and I'm sure there are plenty of others with different FLs too.

My Tamron 28-75mm also reports the correct focal length in the EXIF..

Cute!

Actually, I bought it new from Amazon. When it arrived it was clear that it was one that had previously been returned to them. I also noticed it sometimes oscillates on focus, zipping back & forth over a very narrow range.

I'm thinking I'll sell it back to Amazon.
