Thanks Steve. Ya know, I always enjoy watching these little guys. For a cold blooded reptile with a BB sized brain, they are remarkably alert and aware of their surroundings. I got one the last time I was out on the river that had climbed up on the log laying in the river, then up one limb at the crotch of the tree, then way up on a projecting branch that was a good 10 feet above the water. I guess we got to close for him, cause he launched himself in a perfect dive off that branch and plopped into the water with hardly a ripple. Better than I could do.
