Alright, soooo...

I'm always reading posts from people who "just ordered" their new toys :)
So I figured I'd join in!

I JUST placed my order(s) for the 5D Mark II, Manfrotto 055XPROB, Manfrotto 488RC2, and an extra LP-E6 battery!!
The camera will be here on Friday, and the rest will be here next week (Tuesday, or Wednesday)

I can't waitttttttt!!! I won't be able to sleep!

Thanks for reading about my excitement :D:D:D

Yeah, I remember waiting for the call for my pre-order last December. Enjoy the next few days of anticipation - maybe go to the Canon web site and download/browse the User Manual.

The 5D Mk II is a 21mp full-frame workhorse that will produce stunning RAW images when you get everything right. Have fun.

Congrats on a great camera. Wait until you see how your lenses work on FF. It's like you purchased all new gear along with the body.

A little bit of everything. Right now I'm TRYING to focus on landscape stuff, but I'm starting to book a lot of events and weddings, so a second body was\is a necessity!

The camera and tripod got me jealous enough, but the extra battery, that just blew my mind. Congrats on propping up a sagging economy :-).
