Vagabond power pack for the strobes.

I need to stay out of the buy/sell forum. It's burning a hole in the wallet...

I think the picture before it showing the lighting set-up tells you that it's not an HDR image.

Really nice images, especially the 'into the sun' one, near perfectly executed.

However ... no way that 'lightning' shot where you show the two strobes is the setup shot for the 'into the sun' shot, also I don't think the shot in the magazine is the exact same shot you show as #4, the flash at the rear fender looks different and the shadow on the ground is much smaller in the magazine shot.

Still, very nice work and congrats on your publication.

Mark

this is actually the image that resulted to the setup above

IMAGE: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2753/4053510780_af0c3565f3_o.jpg

btw. even though it isnt the setup i used shooting into the sun, it was pretty much the same setup since i only had 2 strobes that day. and even worse that we forgot the extension cord that day.

it all worked out in the end as it finally went into print!

ps. not HDR. i just brought back some details in the clouds
