I keep my membership running for The Henry Ford for those rainy days...
A few shots from my last visit.

BTW - awesome book, with a few factual errors like usual; picked it up at The Museum.

Good ones.

Guys near my hometown were restoring a tri-motor a few years ago. I think it's in Ohio now.

Nice - I was just there the other day. It is really a great place to visit on rainy days. My all time favorite is the Lincoln Chair.

When I was at Western MI U back in 1998-2001, they had Tri-Motor flights that would take people over the campus/Kalamazoo. Pretty cool. Very distinct engine noise.

Nice Series Michael...

Do they still have the FORD Single Seat aircraft on display? IIRC, it was originally intended to be the Model T of airplanes. One in every hangar. Didn't catch on...

The Henry Ford is such a great museum. One of the Detroit area's true Gems...

Not sure about that plane, they do rotate some exhibits.
