recently picked up the new pocket wizard 2 FlexTT5 and one MiniTT1. i do have to say, these toys ROCKS!!!! Have been playing (testing) around w/ my 580EX II. Cant wait to take it out on the engagement session in 2 weeks.

I want to get another flash just for OCF w/ these PW. I already have two 580EX II. do you think it's a better idea to get the 430EX II then another 580EX II??? the price different is over $100. and if i get the 430EX II, maybe I can pick up two.

I'm not sure what we can add. You know how good then 580exII is. You know you'd be giving up a stop of power but with 3 or 4 lights in play thats usually not a big problem. Which way do you want to go?

Having identical strobes is easier to manage (set-up etc) than different one's. You also have an identical back up piece of equipment. The 580 EXII is also more powerful, more features, more rugged, weather sealed, etc.

Tools: Canon 5DmkII, Sony a6400, Fujifilm X100V
