Yes that's right. The lens is beautiful.
Oh yeah, and it takes beautiful colorful contrasty shots.
Seriously, it's a great lens.

Ok, but you need to turn off so many AF points and better yet, MF.

MF may be better in many circumstances but there is only one AF point shown as active.

I agree with the OP...it's a gem of a lens. As for AF accuracy, I've found it to be one of the most accurate lenses I've ever used. It does not miss. I might miss (user error), but if I do my job, it is absolutely dead on accurate.

Yes, only one was active, and that's how they appear on DPP.
As far as MF goes, it's not for me :)

But, Hatem, you do need to focus correctly and your example is not.

What would be the correct focus point? It seems subjective.

???
I see it perfectly focused, and I do wear glasses!
Also, the IS was on, ISO 125, 1/100s, f2.8, no flash, ONE-Shot AF and a little windy outside.
But seriously, I see it in perfect focus.

Dammmn. I want this lens so bad. I used to own the old 100/2.8 macro which was superb and this sure doesn't look disappointing.

Thanks for posting and ignore the ignorant douchebags throwing rocks at you for no reason. They're just seen a Photozone review which shows only barely excellent image quality in the corners
