First time shooting hockey

Last night I had a chance to photograph the 2010 Olympic Gold Medal winners in womens hockey as they punished a mens Triple A Midget team 5 -2 in preparation for Vancouver

This is my first time shooting a hockey game , C&C most welcome

They haven't won 2010 yet :) Team USA has won the last 2 International Events.. and the 4 Nations Cup is the week after this weekend. Looks like good competition though for the physical games played Internationally.. especially with Apps getting taken out.

Sarah Vaillancourt (#26) was a great player for Harvard..

Haley Irwin (#21 on the bench shot) and Jocelyne Larocque (#23 not pictured) play their college hockey here, and Caroline Ouellette (#13 also not pictured) was a 4 year star here. We've also got a number of Team Sweden and Finland Olympians on the college women's roster who are skipping this season as the national teams Centralize.
