Excellent series, well done. I am just trying to figure out "how " that talented little bird was able to depress the shutter button on that 50D for some of those great shots? LOL!

Wow, wonderful shots. Do any of the other birds become as tame as Robbie? He's a charmer. :)

Excellent series of shots...that last one is way too cute. You should send that last one to canon, and maybe they will send you a new lens. That one is coming apart..heh..heh. I was thinking of puting some of that on my lens because it sticks out of my camo hide like a sore thumb and the birds do see it. Post more often, I love those blue tits and the your robins are my favorite!

Thanks all for the kind comments, most of these were taken in my garden or as you lot say back yard :D The Robin is probably the freindliest of the British garden birds, this one in fact would come down on my hand in the morning when I gave a little whistle. Grab a couple of meal worms and then back to the nest to feed the young, it is a pity that they rarely live past about 18 months, like most small birds their lifecycle is short. Anyway here is a couple more to save posting up new threads for now.

Lastly we have a stream not far from the house where I was fortunate enough to capture this Kingfisher.

More excellent shots, and that dunnock is the best I've ever seen posted here. That fish looks quite large for that kingfisher! Well done.

Lovely set of shots, those Longtailed Tits sure are sweet, I've not seen mine for months. Wish I had a Kingfisher on a stream near me.
