First attempt, awful ending. It was a really quick attempt on my driveway but my 580ex was hand held in 4 different spots. The flash was set on the lowest setting which is not near bright enough. I also should have lit the front of the truck better. Any C&C is appreciated. Hopefully next time I can figure out how to shoot with flashes better.

Had to post my first strobe shoot with an Audi RS5. Was really excited to see how it turns out, and love how it turns out, although not that perfect.

Was having trouble lighting up the side of the car. Always got it wrong, and ending up lighting up only the fender.

Used 2 YongNuo 460II for this.

This one is shot early morning, so can't really see much effect on the lighting, but I used one for the side of the car.

+1. Last shot looks a bit underexposed though.

not bad rylan though you have to always consider your backdrop. in this case it is very distracting and unappealing.

I thought the background looked pretty good in the second two shots, not so much in the first.

No setup because the whole shop was full of...Well...Smoke...By the time I thought of it.

This was my first try with strobes. 2 AB1600's behind the car in the smoke. I'd have been happier with a third strobe to light the front of the car, and the reflections in the paint bother me a bit.

But I'm fairly happy with the result, as it was my first time using my big lights.

Used a single bare bulb from a Profoto 7B kit, handheld behind the camera to the left, and the sun doing the rest of the work. Filled in the sun's shadow in PS.

First time using the AB1600 and AB800 or strobes in general. As you guys know shooting black cars are difficult. I was losing ambient light quick. The area was full of trees so there wasn't much light to start with. Any critiques are welcomed.

In my opinion. Too dark.

And NEVER park a shiny car under trees or on a ground that busy (all the leaves) for a photo. Unless you're taking a picture of the tree's reflection in the paint *looks at the Zaino guys*
