Here is one of the BTS shots I did from tonight. I haven't begun to edit the real shots but I just love this photo. 3 Canon 430EXii's fired bare in umbrellas triggered by the cowboy studios triggers (Yay Amazon lol).

I like the original too (as I mentioned). The OP mentioned a couple pages back he was trying to lighten up on the blue and grey in his shot. Since he had "image editing ok" I was just messing around to see if I could get what he may have had in mind. its ok. im sure you are new to photography and that is something that we've probably all encountered when first learning photography and editing. I look back at some of my old pictures too and am shocked to think I use to have horribly over processed my photos with bad taste, such as your photo, as well. There are no rules for a good photograph and there are no excuses for a bad one.

Can anyone provide a guide on how to blend pics using PSE 8? I tried youtube searches and no luck. You will need to use layers, and layer masks........and I am almost positive they didn't add that feature till PSE 9.

I opened the three pictures at the same time, dragged the second picture over the first and chose the second picture to "lighten" and the second picture then only showed where the flash was. I then did the same for the third photo by dragging it on top of the blend of photos one & two. I'm not good at explaining but this should get you on the right track if you decide to use adobe Canon 5DII - Canon EOS 1V-HS - 8-15mm L - 17-40mm L - 24-70mm L - 24-105mm L - 70-200mm/2.8is ii L - 580EX - Yashica FX-D & FX-7

I used the healing tool on the front bump of the cobra to get rid of the relections from the flash. My question is how the hell do you strobe a black car without flash reflections all over the car ? Is it the umbrella and indirect light that is the key ? I use indirect lighting. Many people told me, don't light the car, light the surroundings. A white wall/ceiling works wonders, but am trying a LARGE PLM this time around to see if I can get similar results..
