Id say most modern cars unless stock or little or nothing done to it are ruined, but thats me. its not how you take the picture, its the final result before editing.

A white wall/ceiling works wonders, but am trying a LARGE PLM this time around to see if I can get similar results.. Thats pretty tough unless you have surfaces on all sides to bounce light off of. If you park in the open somewhere there would be nothing to bounce off of. codak wrote in post #14561265 Quattro I am not professional so I may be wrong, but I suggest cloning tool or autoheal brush on photoshop. I used the healing tool on the front bump of the cobra to get rid of the relections from the flash. That might be an option, have to take some shots of my black car and try learning how the healing brush works. thanks Body: Canon 6D Lens:Canon 70-200 f4 L | Canon 24-105 f4 L | Tamron 24-70 VC

lambocars Senior Member 323 posts Likes: 2 Joined Mar 2008 Location: Europe More info | I have been lurking in this thread for a long time now, and trying out lots of stuff with my Canon EX580II flash units ... now I can finally show you some of the things I've been trying : The result : another one ... the setup : there is a second EX580II at camera left just outside the frame the result after some post processing : Third attempt : final shot : and a fourth one that went through some serious post processing : Didn't think about taking a setup shot, but the setting was simple, one EX580II pointed at the floor in front of the car and a second EX580II at camera left pointed at the side taking care not to have a hot spot. I've actually written down how I made these shots so you can learn from my mistakes, feel free to read my post My tutorials
