So stupid, last night I wanted to test my new strobe and I wanted to test a strip softbox. And I forgot the front part of the softbox so I had to testshoot my buddy's car with bare strobe ...

so unlucky, will have to test that again with the softbox. At least I know I have enough power now :D

ps: the shot is really bad I know, but I wanted to show the power of studio lights on location.

That is a quick edit, I am going to try to layer mask it and turn the exposure up on the background to try and separate it some more, or throw in a different background above the curb. Although details in the car such as trim and the cowl hood are still fairly lost so not sure how much it will help overall. It was still a fun experiment and at least gave me a starting point for trying again.

I like shooting white. lol.

Same set-up for both shots^^ a pair of 800w white lightnings, direct flash no modifiers. 45 degrees camera left and right. Different shot was used to bring it the background.

Chris-some Canon, some Nikon, some Pentax, lil bit o' everything
