1 580EX2 pointing vertical to light the bottom of the door mirror.
1 580EX2 lighting across the hood scoop.
Elinchrom 135cm octabox as main light pointed at front bumper corner and headlight.
Elinchrom standard reflector and tight grid highlighting STi logo on front grille.
Manfrotto tripod and Manfrotto Magic Arm combined to create a ghetto hose holder due to no assistants available!

Magic clamps are great for everything! A bit of backyard mechanics comes in handy at times.

Thanks Dave. I actually toned down and desaturated the headlight a little as I found being too bright it was a bit distracting. It might actually work well with the headlights on and some flare in the frame too. I might try that next time.

I had the owner of the car as my light mover.

Told him if the mechanic stuff falls through I'd hire him as an unpaid intern lol

Here is my first attempt with strobes not perfect by far but I was happy with my first attempt cheers Scotty any feedback good or bad would be great thanks

For those of you use speedlites on light stands, how high do you tend to use them at? I am looking at some stands, and there are some between 6ft and 9ft.
