Big props to you strobist. I was practicing with my car tonight and was having a difficult time getting any good shots. I was playing around with two RX600 with couple different modifiers, with no luck...

Maybe the modifiers are your problem, causing large reflections in the car. Show some pics and I'm sure you'll get some decent crit/advice, if you want it.

Shot with my 7D and 70-200 f2.8. Two Elinchrom BXRi 250's, one at each side of the camera. I forgot to make some BTS shots.

I am curious about the post work you did. The light on the car has a soft look to it? Or there is just something, I can't figure it out haha.

It looks like it might be a matt vinyl wrap, that can help make the lighting look more even rather than just a glossy hotspot.

i REALLY like the second "final" image, maybe wishing there was a third light aimed at the side of the car, but it's still great. you don't see octoboxes or even soft boxes used in automotive photography much, but after seeing this I'm going to have to experiment a bit.

Thxs ya I'm really digging the results the light is very diffused which makes PP much easier as there isn't too many hotspots to take car of... And I forgot to mention the 2nd example I posted was with just the 60in as the little one didn't fire.... I just really liked the result it created
