Love this shot!

The seat lighting is a nice touch to such a simple set up, great job.

Great thread!
Here are a couple of my shots, hopefully they are ok for this thread.

Approx 5min exposure, car light painted with LED torch, interior green gelled wireless flash, trees red gelled hand triggered flash, front and rear or car hand triggered ungelled flash.

IMAGE: http://i268.photobucket.com/albums/jj38/canno1_2008/light-paint-10001.jpg

Approx 3min exposure, first painted engine with an LED torch closed the bonnet and painted the sides, roof and front of the car with LED torch. Fired wireless red gelled flash (behind car) and green gelled flash (on front seat) 3 or 4 times.

These shots were my first effort at this style of shot a bit of fine tuning to go yet, both shots pretty much straight from camera.

Cheers
Daniel

Both shots are shot in almost complete darkness. The first shot is so long to get the star trails in the background (imposible to get with a fast exposure without stacking multiple shots)) and the ambient light from the town 15kms away, there was no moon light. Also gave me time to walk around and paint the car, trees and ground.

Second shot was taken in my shed no lights, all flash and torch, you need a bit of time time to move about and do this, also needed the exposure to bring up the "ambient" a little.

The long exposure also makes it possible to use low ISO to help with noise.

Cheers

Looks good,

Love the angle and setting. I like the one without vignette, the vignette makes the other shot look a little dark, but everyones preferences are different.
You have done a good job with the flash, a bit of fine tuning and you could probably get rid of the shadows in front/side of the car.

I think you have made your bros ute look pretty good, pitty bout the ford badge;)

Cheers

Forgot to take a set up shot. But its three AB 1600s lighting the truck and I used a 580EXII to get a little more detail in the front wheel on.
