You could always upgrade to Cactus v5 transcievers for very cheap. 100M+ range and a lot of members on here seem to love them. $55 for a 2 pack. Buy two and you'll have 1 trigger and 3 receivers. And the YongNuo flashes are good for cheap secondary flashes as well. You can buy 4 YN flashes for the price of 1 canon 430.

yea mate, i mite just do that, i can get those flashes for $50 each here in aus. So the new v5s look all the same as where the v4s had the transmitter as 1 and the receiver as another. The new v5s all work as transmitter and receiver hey?

Yes. Pham did a thread about them in the Small Flash section. They look very nice. They are set up as transcievers. Basically they can detect when they are mounted on the hotshoe and they switch into transmitter mode. Then the others go into receiver mode. No more having separate transmitter/receiver pieces.

No reason to upgrade when she keeps netting you beautiful pics. :)
The photog behind the gear might have something to do with it too! :D

Beautiful shots.

I like this thread very much. I think it's going to turn out quite expensive for me though :P

51OAU, nice comparison mate. It's amazing the difference just a little bit of fill flash can make.

I don't do much automotive shooting, here is my first attempt at night. SB-800 & SB-600 outside the car and Vivitar 285HV inside. I wasent planning on doing any shots tonight, hence the reason the car isnt clean. :(

^ very nice for your first try. how high to you you have your flash sitting? I have mine around 5.5 ft or so. The flash on the top right looks high.

Does those pics have muliple images or is that just one?
