Which lens do you guys prefer using for night shot with strobes? 17-40L or 70-200L?

Jun 30, 2011 01:00 | #1177 24-105mm is much better for the automotive side of things. Mainly because it has Image Stabilization. Canon 7D Mk2, Sony A7iii, Canon 85mm f1.8, Canon 70-200mm f2.8 IS mk1, Sigma 17-55mm f2.8, Tamron 28-75iii, a few flashes and many modifiers

If you're shooting with strobes IS doesn't have much of a use, not unless you're using some mean HD filters and shooting at an obscenely long shutter speed. Most of my photos are composites as well, so a tripod is a must which put IS out completely. My village called. I was told that they missed me.
