it's bean a while and after much deliburation and aboout a year ago brain ache .

about a month ago i sold the 40d and traded in the bigma 350d and ef 70-300.

i am now the broud owner of a d300 and bigmos :D

as i struggled so much with BIF with focus aquring lock on and lossing the center point on many lost bird images.

it was getting to my head so much i actualy gave for a bit but now im sorted d300 and the bigmos.

trying to du starlings with the 40d was vmad but now with centre point and 20 little helpers i can get shots like this .

hope i haven affened any body in the canon group being a nikon user :D

as you can imagen im a happy chappy

Hey Jason, nice shot of the speckled terror. I was wondering where you had got to. Don't worry, we know Nikons are all made at the Canon factory on the second shift. Nothing to be ashamed of.

I just bought a new 7D last week, and guess what, another Bigma. It's going to be a great combination and is already getting some nice shots. :)

bigmos is still in testing stange os seem to keep things steady in the view finder but on the odd occation makes the image sworse  .

Just posted this on the other thread, seems there are two, better lock the other one.

Runs round looking for torches to burn the heretic

You've got a good bird shot, I thought that was what this forum was about, else we Sigma users would probably be considered unclean as well :D

Well, Jake has already said that Nikon users are welcome too, so if there is any doubt, we'll go get him. ;)

Hi Jason,

Nice Starling in-flight. :)

Of course we're still on the "light" side here, but we may very well move over to the dSLR side ourselves somewhen. If and when we do, brand won't limit our decision, and I'm sure interested in your deliberations on this. I suppose you mean that the d300 focuses better (or faster)? Any other thing that entered into your decision?

We enjoyed your Canon shots very much too btw.

Keep 'em coming,

Kenn :)
