The front red acrylic panel on the focus assist beam on my ST-E2 seems to have fallen off on a gig a few weeks ago. I can't find it anywhere.
Does anyone know where to get a replacement and how much they might cost?

Thanks!

Perhaps I'll email them. I'm afraid I'll get the ol' "We currently do not offer that item as a replacement. If it has come off, your unit is broken and needs to be replaced. We can offer you a replacement for $299.99..."

Try asking here: http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Pro-Photo-Camera-Shop (external link)

If not them, I am sure I saw it on ebay in the last week from someone else maybe. IIRC it was not expensive.

Just trying to help.

Thanks No Name...
Why is it red anyway? Maybe easier on the eyes in dark conditions?

I'd get a replacement from Canon. Probably $20 shipped.

My cat ran off with the same cover for my Speedlight. Canon had a new one to me in 3 days.
