I've shot a lot of Abert's Squirrels, but never saw one with such long ear hairs. These live in the woods and nest in tall pine trees. This one is eating something it found. I was shooting with the 300mm and he was only 20 feet away, so didn't get the whole animal. Cute little Tree rats!:D

Thanks Dan, some of these squirrels have the hair and some don't. I thought it was an age thing like people...heh..heh. The younger squirrels don't seem to have much of it.:D
