In the Preferences Section, under the Tab "View settings" what numbers would you enter for Highlight/Shadow Alert?

I use 255 and 0 for Highlight and Shadow respectively, but wonder if a member has a different idea (and setting).

When I used DPP I left it at default. The only reason you'd want to change them is if you want to see when tones are approaching total black or white. That's up to your preferences

I changed mine to make 6 the number for shadows and 250 the number for highlights. If you print a lot, it helps make sure that the printer/paper combination can handle the dynamic range of the image.
