Pelicans in Pacific Grove, CA

Hi,

I was in Pacific Grove (near Monterrey, CA) this past weekend, and I happen to see these pelicans flying in formation. I not much of a bird watcher, and I normally see birds randomly fly in flocks or in a "V". These pelican were flying single file, swooping up and down the ocean - kinda look like fighter jets. Anyway, here's a couple of shots. CC's welcome.
