I really like the first one, a lot. Only thing that would have made it better is a little different perspective so his butt's not "resting" on the rock behind him. It would have made it have a cleaner line, I think.

Anyways, lighting looks good and I like colors. Exif says no flash used?

I couldn't come out from the rock anymore... I wold of been in harsh blinding sun. there was a strobe... single 580 exII fired up high above cam left into a 43" silver brolly. it was fired with sky ports... probably why it don't show on exif?

also... don't know if you noticed the guy sitting in the lower right of the screen. he is nearly 6' tall and halfway between kneeling and standing up to spot the climber... he was up there a little bit. He def wasnt "sitting" on the rock behind :-)

Thanks... I think this was the first time I took the new 7 outdoors. Love the metering and af comared to my 50! ;-)a
