It was a good camera for her to learn on, and cheap. Still wish we had gotten a Rebel. 50D. 28-135 Kit, Nifty Fifty, 24-105 L

If I ever need a good laugh I just go in and ask an open question about a computer or camera. ![]() Years ago I tried to get a job at futureshop- went to one of those job fairs. They never called me back for an interview. Maybe cause I know too much... Sony A6000, 16-50PZ, 55-210, 35mm 1.8 OSS

Film never crashes. Computers crash all the time and then you've lost everything. The only way I'd lose any important images is if I had a fire at my house." --- Now this is a pretty good camera store and I've dealt with this clerk-- he is a smart guy, knows cameras, knows photography... but I had no idea he was such a luddite. Sure, buddy, the only way you lose your photos is a house fire (or a flood)... and that never happens, right? So what stupid or funny things have you heard at your local camera store? Please report things in context.

The guy wouldn't even let me touch the 70-200, and said it was for 'serious photographers only' and that they had much cheaper alternatives. Instead of saying something, I just ignored him and grabbed some random Nikon body to check out (lol). He left the lens on the counter, so I picked it up and the guy literally turned back around and tried grabbing it out of my hands. Not exactly sure what his problem was. I should have grabbed it and bolted for the door as a joke. | Canon 7D | 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS | 70-200 f/4L IS | 1.4X II TC |

He actually said that the Nikon would have full 4 by 6 inch prints but the Canon would be a little smaller. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
