So every time I clean out their cage I leave the cage part off and take pictures of them running around. Today was no different, well, that part was no different.

I had a busy day, after the cage was cleaned I took some pictures, had to shower and head downstairs because the family was coming over to our house for dinner... I get back from dinner after about 5 hours and I saw Pube and Queef running around in the cage, but heard tiny squeaks from the other side of the cage. I have problems with my left ear so I thought it was just me being crazy and hearing stuff again, so I turned down whatever I was watching and yep, babysqueaks.

I go to dinner and they have a litter of babies. Now, you'd think I would've seen this coming, i would've if I hadn't thought they were 2 girls. I've had them for 41 days and their gestation period is around 20, so I figured a while back they were really 2 girlies... NOPE!

So Queef is now a boy and a daddy, which just makes his name so wrong :( Extra wrong.

Here are the proud parents just hours before they gave birth:

Darling series of photos (I looked at all 136 of them) and a charming story. Thanks for sharing them with us.

Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.

Especially if you know what a "Queef" is...

Your naming conventions are definately a little twisted. ;)
