jpeg on the PC and raw in the memory card?

Hi everyone,

I'm using Eos utility + a 5-m usb cable + 5D.
I can trigger the camera from the PC and the images are uploaded immediately.

I now want to do something different:
- trigger the camera from the camera.
- have the RAW file stored in the memory card.
- have a jpeg file sent to the usb-connected PC for fast and accurate preview. (so that the model can see the image and correct herself in real time).

I was told that this is easy to do, but I did not get the details.

How does it work now? Raw gets downloaded to the PC? Is that a problem?

It is a problem because it is slow (~5 secs) so I cannot use this mode duringa shooting if I have to wait so much between shots. On the pc I dont need the raw in real time.
other problem is : if i trigger from the camera, nothing is sent to the PC. I have to trigger from the PC to get the images in there.
