It was a bright Texas day and his hair is so blond that it gets blown out easily. I did some PP on #2 and #3 using layers to brighten his face since his body was in the shadows to protect against squinting and over exposing his hair. First off, your son is very, very cute! Here's my opinion: color is a must in H'ween pictures. Skip the black and white. Try close ups, with a pumpkin in the background or off to the side to suggest Halloween. Or do a close up with him holding a very small pumpkin. Since he is so very blond you are going to have to let that be the tail that wags the dog, and work around it. Anyway, that's just my opinion and congrats on the great kid-what a cutie!
