Fall at the Eno River - Orange Co, NC

Took a hike down to the river behind my house the other day to get some fall shots. The trails are fiber optic and powerline trails, so they are fairly accessable.....while overgrown slightly.

1. I was standing in the river for this shot, water was about a foot deep and I'd guess in the 60's......touch chilly.

Love the first one.

1st is best. as for getting wet, anything for the shot, right?

Nice colors! If the sun would ever come out again, I'd try to get down there myself!

Great shots. The doe is actually a spike buck though.

Absolutely. I had to wade through the river to get to where I wanted to go anyhow.....so I knew what was coming.

You are right. I had 3-4 shots of this little fella and a doe. I guess I didn't pay too close attention to which picture I put up.

I live in south Durham, near Southpoint... when I go to the Eno, it's usually off of Pleasant Green or Cole Mill.
