I like the detail you've captured in the foreground rocks, which would otherwise have been dark.

Is it the filters that created that warm tone throughout?

Thanks George. The warmth was already there in the scene. Since I shot in AWB, I adjusted it to way I saw it. :)

Nice work, Julian. The detail in the foreground rocks is outstanding...

Thanks Mike. I'm also was surprised at how much detail I was able to get in the foreground. A little dodging really helped here. :)

I just ordered a print from Mpix. I'm real curious as to how the detail with the dark rocks is going to turn out. Keeping my fingers crossed! :)

I'm not so sure about this one Julian. The foreground is way too busy and the birds actually distract my eye on this one. I'm seeing some green moss a ways into the photo, and I'm wondering if you have anything from that point of view? You've done way better than this in my opinion with your previous contributions.

That's cool Nic. I figured for some the foreground is too busy. One thing I wish I did have at the time was my water shoes. I would've definitely have gone a bit out on the rocks. Despite your critique, I still like the image imho. The challenge of grasping detail in the foreground was a plus for me. Thanks for your input. :)
