Very nice J-B, I really love the 35 for its rendering style.

I've always regretted selling my ZE 2/35, it's such an amazing piece of glass. The 50 MP is also great, but for different reasons in my opinion... I really think I'm going to move to a ZE 35 + 50L combo at some point.

Thanks. They sure are different, but I can't choose which one I like better. Both the 35ZE and 50MP are awesome.

AArgh I don't think I can hold back anymore...I may just get the 35ZE this weekend...I know it's probably very close to the 50L in focal length but it's uses are rather different. I just need to hide it from the missus....

Congrats Mike!

I agree Jam. 50mm gives me a very different (standard) perspective, while 35mm clearly (obviously)shows a more wideangle perspective.

Arrrgh I cant stand the poison on these zeiss threads. Just got my first ZE 35 and a new 5D2 body to go with it (sold my 7D and 2 lenses) Now cant post anyting cos its charging at the moment. Anyway I felt that my images are underexposed with this lens? Did I miss anything?

Some fantastic images here and I'm sorely tempted!
I've just ordered a 5D Mk2 which I will use as my main landscape camera. I've seen here and elsewhere that the precision matte screen is recommended and wonder what its like with f/2.8 and f/4lenses?
I've got the 17mm TS-E and 200L which are f/4 and f/2.8 respectively. I'm a little concerned that I could have problems using these lenses with that focusing screen. More so with the TS-E as its a MF lens.
If anyone has any experience with lenses like these, I'd be very grateful if they could share their thoughts.

I don't have any experience with those specific lenses, but I have the precision matte screen for my 5d. I was still able to use a 100mm 2.8 macro and 300mm f/4 without any trouble. The viewfinder really does get darker when using the precision matte screen and slow(er) lenses, but I found it to still be usable. As for your 17mm TS-E, I imagine that the viewfinder will be dark so focusing could be difficult. But, then again you will be using a 5DII which means you have live view. Personally I would probably just use live view everytime I used a TS-E lens, just to see the effect it's having on what will be the image.
