I was under the impression that the mk 3 was the top of the "High ISO/Fast AF" game. Wow, I guess I was wrong. Yeah, that was rather a shock to me as well. . .not that I have any aspirations of ever owning a MK III anyway. I'd love to have an extra $7k for a 400mm f/2.8, though.
