It started as a foggy, rainy weekend - very Western Front, Fall 1918 . . .
But it cleared up later on Saturday. What the well-dressed mechanic wears . . .

Hope you got the name of the Husband/Wife team. I'm sure they'd love a print of that! Got a chuckle out of Pvt Smith texting "All Quiet On The Western Front." Is this the event where they have Large Scale R/C as well? Paul & Diane Weaver. They're GWAA regulars . . . As soon as she got the engine going, she put her hat back on, of course . . . spitfirejd wrote in post #8942453 Where do I get one of those model 1918 cell phones? These have great atmosphere, too bad the next to last has all the modern RVs and such in the background.Yeah. I liked that too. Just imagine he's lighting his pipe. When it was at its foggiest it screened out a lot of the anachronisms (obviously not all though). Jon

Fokker E.V, later versions called D VIII - there were some build issues with the early ones so when they put them back in service they gave it a new name to try to allay pilots' qualms. There were a couple of Morane-Saulniers there - one A-1 under construction and the L that was used in Amelia flying. Jon
