Photoshop Can't Find Files

Hi, everyone--I'm new at this, so thanks for help! I have image folders downloaded from G2 to Zoombrowser. In some folders, when I click on a photo in Zoombrowser to "Edit picture in Photoshop LE", Photoshop opens and says it can't find the file.

The file does exist, though. If I ask Photoshop to open the image by clicking to the folder, it works fine. But it won't work from Zoombrowser. Any suggestions to get Photoshop to recognize the file from Zoombrowser? Thank you.

Dan

If you are using a pre-4.0 version of ZoomBrowser, you probably need to refresh your online registered folders. To do this:
1. Click on View (at the top of the main ZB screen)
2. Click on Refresh Online Registered Folders

This could take awhile if you have a lot of images.

If the program asks you if you want to remove a thumbnail because it can't find the associated file, select Remove. This problem arises when you move an image file from one location to another (except when you are using ZB to do it). ZoomBrowser is a database, as you know, so you have refresh it occasionally. I hope this helps! - Johnny

Hi, Johnny

Thanks for the fast reply. I tried refreshing folders, but that didn't help. Then, while working on a new folder and having the same trouble, I discovered what was causing the problem: If the file name ends with a single digit, Photoshop can't find it. For example, it cannot find file "San Francisco Feb 1". It can find San Francisco Feb 11, or San Francisco Feb-1, or San Francisco Feb1, but won't find the file if there's a space and a single digit from 1 to 9 at the end of the name. Weird!
