300 f/2.8 Non IS - Sharp without but soft with both converters??? Anyone had this???

I have this combination ... and I have to micro adjust with a 5DMKII
300L2.8 non IS -> +6
300L2.8 non IS + TC1.4X -> +6
300L2.8 non IS + TC2X -> +12
300L2.8 non IS + TC1.4X + TC2X +17
And nearly same adjustement with my 50D +6 +10 +15

It took me many hours to do it inside the house and in the garden (it needs 40 meters lengh) ..
