SO I'm trying to photomerge 4 pics into a panorama using Photoshop CS3's auto photomerge. But it seems to have it's own will, It will only do it about once every 100 times :( wich is a real pain in the ass. The times it dont, it starts working and everything's fine, then it just stops. No message or anything, it just stops. Like it didnt feel like doing it... :D
I've tried removing as much RAM space as possible and changed PS memory usage to 15% and connected all my scratch disks togerher (500+GB of free space). Still nothing.

Everything else works just fine except for photomerge. I've done a bit of reading and I'm not the only one with this problem. Any one here on POTN that has had the same problem?

Really need help since I need it for a commisioned work and they reeeeaaally want a panorama... :(

I'd try another solution. My preferred panorama stitcher is Hugin. It's a great freeware panorama sticher that I much prefer to the Photomerge function. Try downloading it and see, it's available for PC and Mac btw as I don't know your OS.

thanks but it's a interior shot that I need to panorama, Hugin didnt really match any points... PS worked yesterday on another shot with 8 pics (interior) but today it refuses.

I run PC

EDIT!

I got it working on a friends pc with Elements. So I'm saved! But the PS problem still buggs me... :(

Try doing two images, then the other two images, then try to stitch those two images (i.e., three stitches).

"Raw" is not an acronym, abbreviation, nor a proper noun; thus, it should not be in capital letters.

Try doing the merge WITHOUT Geometric Distortion correction. I have had CS4's Photomerge hang on me when I have enabled the "Geometric Distortion" option, while unchecking the option and rerunning the merge has worked. It does not hang every time I do a merge, but it appears that certain sets of image merges cause this problem.
