Nice shot ... interesting perspective. Aren't bats blind? Would a flash have disturbed the bat?

I love the hairdo!

AFAIK, bats aren't blind - they do have weak eyesight IIRC.

We had a bat in our dorm room a few years back...we had no idea of cameras so my roomy grabbed his POS and took a pic. When the flash was charging the poor thing went psycho and battered his way around the room (excuse the pun). He came back and stayed outside our dorm for three months, happily being fed while we were partying/studying and be a general pain in the grounds man’s a$$.

I love bats; he attracted the finer sex from our species.

I wonder if the flash charging hit the range he normally uses for echolocation?
