There is a small add-on grip you can buy (Richard Franiec) for the S90 which will improve the handling immensely. Search around on the forums and you will see some threads discussing it. He had also made grips for previous G-series cameras which improved their handling as well.

But either one of those cameras are pretty good and you will enjoy using them.

Excellent news!
It's so important to actually work with a camera! You're right--some feel terrible but work for other people well.
Richard Franiec recently took his S90 to Cyprus. The photos were incredible. Bet he had a grip on it! :)

Glad you've made up your mind--for a G11.
