I did see a small improvement when I did this but I am not convinced my computer was ever waiting 30 seconds for me to choose an OS to load (I have no dual boot and the whole system is up in 20 odd seconds)- so my feeling is that you could safely skip and changes in steps 1 to 3 and go straight to 4 ![]() I did this (finally!) and broke my computer with BSOD!
