The 135L has now reached £450.02 on eBay. It's got until Friday evening, so I'm hoping for a bidding war (7 bids and 13 watchers so far). I don't see many other 135L's listed right now, so things look hopeful (despite emails from eBay asking me to lower my reserve to attract new bidders).

I put a reasonable reserve on it (I don't want to lose too much money on it)

I can keep my laptop in standby for a whole weekend or longer without draining the battery. (I plug it back in to the mains each time I use it though)

Bugger, I just reinstalled Portrait Pro after installing Windows 7 and now it tells me my license has already been used and I can't get it working properly. Hopefully my email to the support people will be answered swiftly.

Got my delivery notice yesterday. It's coming by UPS from the states and is scheduled to be here by the 23rd. That seems like a long time for UPS, I take it it's not their usual speedy delivery system...

Thats if we even get to go! The guide wants to postpone 2 weeks because of the weather :(
I think we are going to go anyway, but 40mph winds will not help the situation

After seeing the arctic conditions, I am loathed to cave in because of some wind/sea.

I think we can still get some great stuff.
If it's that rough, lets take some great landscape pics with seals in them.
