Which I have and am quite happy with.

There's no more beautiful place in the UK than the Scottish Highlands as far as I'm concerned.

Pete - you're right - Chris please note Pete's comment - my sentiment entirely.

If you can manage to get beyond the highlands and carry on into Orkney - It's an expensive ferry trip but it is worth it. The first time we went to Orkney and arrived in Kirkwall it was absolutely Hissing with rain - I asked a woman where the hotel was - she said - "You visiting this place on holiday? You must be mad - I can't wait to bloody get out!" I'm glad she didn't put us off - We've been a couple of times since and - but for circumstances - would've gone this summer. And - I didn't find a single speed camera there - although it is reputed that a policeman lies in wait with a radar gun. Perhaps Adrian can introduce him to POTN and then he'd have something better to do.

Gawd! yet another cold call phone call ~ this one was for a "company" offering me a Crime Survey with free installation of...........I did not let her get that far! I asked her why she was calling our number ~ she said it comes on their database, to which I advised her that we are on the TPS (Telephone Preference Service) database & should not be getting such calls..She said the number would be removed.....I doubt that but we shall see.

If I want security and anti crime advice I will ask my local beat officer not reply on this company & its apparent scare tactics of saying crime in the UK is increasing.............Grrrr!

Rant mode off ;)

My problem is Southern water keep calling about their homeserve thing. Which is pointless to us as we a)know a few plumbers and b)have everything covered on home insurance, yet they insist on calling a few times a month. I've given up telling them not to call back and just hang up now. Damn thing is that because we are their customers they are allowed to call.

Jon, my spider holster was waiting for me at work. I took my camera in especially just so i could have a play with it :o

Its fantastic! Even with the 100-400 on it is is comfortable and does not bump your leg as you walk which i thought it might. The only thing will be to get used to navigating round obstacles with the camera at my hip - im sure i will still bash it a few times though .
